Love to hug a tree

Sunday found the Bendigo Family Nature Club enjoying the diversity of trees at Number 7 Park, Kangaroo Flat.

Did you know that Eucalyptus means "well covered?"

Not only did we get up close to lots of beautiful trees we met some fantastic creatures who live in and near by trees, like spiders.
Here we are amazed by the chance discovery of a Mother Scorpion with lot of tiny white babies on her back!  Incredible!

Next time come along to spy on birds on Sunday the 17th of April 10am - 12pm at Kennington Reservoir .  Meet in the car park next to the Kinder - bookings essential bendigonatureclub@gmail.com
