Mud and a bit of sunshine = JOY!

Thanks to the hard working parks & environment team at the City of Greater Bendigo we all got very muddy.  At the sunny, yet gloriously boggy location at Crusoe Reservoir we had a fantastic day tree planting.  We went home tired, but very pleased with ourselves. The small number of us managed to plant nearly 1000 trees, shrubs & grasses in only a couple of hours.

It's important to protect the newly planted trees & shrubs

 It was happy work, obviously!

Having the ground well prepared made planting very easy for us - thanks to Mark, the Ranger.

It was a beautiful sunny morning, unusual for our activities, but a nice change.
