Check out the locals

Thanks to the wonderful volunteers at WRIN Wildlife Rescue Information Network we learnt all about our local friends who live by waterways that are in urban environments.

Did you know how much little bits of waste from our picnics or walk can harm native wildlife?  Like those rings from water bottles?  Leave that to get into the water a bird may get it caught around its neck and never get it off - a very cruel way to die.

Armed with clip boards we went roaming to spot local wild life living along the shore's of Kennington Reservoir and also potential threats to their lives!

Can you spot the kids living in this adventure tree?

What about the turtle living in the shade of the adventure tree?

Thank you for the wonderful work of WRIN Wildlife Rescue Information Network
