This Sunday was a special Nature Club event, held in partnership with the Bendigo Art Gallery's satellite gallery the Post Office Gallery. Families were invited the studio of a local, yet internationally famous artist John Wolseley.
Sited right next to the beautiful Whipstick Forest is the space that John makes his incredible works about the Australian landscape.
Inspired by John's bounty of landscape treasures and stories we headed out into the Whipstick for a treasure hunt. (Led by John's duster and extra large paint brush)
Items found we used was placed on a treasure table, and after lunch these items were used in a huge drawing. Fun!
Gee gotta go and draw.
Thanks to the wonderful creative generosity of John and the Bendigo Art Gallery!
