Places we Love : Bendigo Creek

Families are invited to come along for a morning of fun activities to learn more about our local birdlife, with Nicole Howie from North Bendigo Landcare Group

Suitable for children of all ages, participants will learn the skills of successful birdwatching, complete a twitching treasure hunt, experience first hand the benefits and limitations of various beak adaptions and attempt the great nest-building challenge.

Location and map will be provided to those who register

BYO snacks, drinks, lunch, binoculars (not essential), camera, bird id book (not essential)
Wear clothing suitable for an outdoor event and the conditions on the day.  Please don’t bring your pets.

Adults must stay with children for the duration of the event.
Registration essential.

North Bendigo Landcare Group, Bendigo Sustainability Group and the Bendigo Field Naturalists.
